How it works

Learn it. Practise it. Prove it.

Every lesson follows the same six steps, so you always know what to do next. Start any day and study at your own hours.

Lesson 3.8 notes in the learning app, with an outline of the page

One lesson, step by step

About two hours of guided work per lesson, split however suits you.

  1. Step 1

    Read the notes

Each lesson opens with where the idea shows up in real AI work, then builds it up one step at a time with worked examples you can run on the page.

  2. Step 2

    Watch, then check

Short video lessons, each followed by a quick check, so you know the idea landed before you move on.

  3. Step 3

    Do the lab

Write the code yourself, in your browser. Checks turn green when it is right. Stuck after three tries? The solution opens. A finished lab gives you a completion code.

  4. Step 4

    Practise for five minutes

The practice path turns the lesson into short sessions: put code in order, predict the output, fill the gap, spot the bug, match the terms.

  5. Step 5

    Work through the workbook

60+ questions in four parts: warm-up, core practice, a challenge and interview drills.

  6. Step 6

    Clear the timed exam

Every lesson ends in a timed exam drawn from a bank of 25+ questions, different on each attempt. Pass it and the next lesson opens.

The rules of the road

Modules open in order

Each module unlocks when you have completed everything in the previous one. Inside a module, each lesson unlocks when you finish the one before it.

Mistakes never cost you anything

No lives, no energy bars and no penalties. Questions you miss come back after one day, then three, then seven, until they stick.

Everything adds up to one score

Labs, exams and projects feed your skill profile, a skill-by-skill score. Every certificate carries a public ID anyone can verify.

Each module ends with something to show

12 portfolio projects across the program, each with a README a recruiter can read in a minute.

A typical week

At about 6–8 hours a week. Move faster or slower; nothing expires.

  1. Mon–TueRead the notes, take the video checks
  2. Wed–ThuDo the lab until every check passes
  3. FriFive minutes of practice, then the workbook
  4. WeekendTimed exam and the lesson assignment

Plan your pace

Self-paced means it fits around a job, college or a career switch. Pick who you are and how many hours you have, and see where you'd be each week.

Hours are the guided hours for every module, including those still to be published. Your pace will vary.
